Whether it’s just in the family swimming pool or at a dedicated FKK resort for all ages, the look is the same. People are naked. That involves a certain free spirit to do socially. Bless free spirits.
It’s not just beaches and resorts. Nudism takes a lot of different forms of expression, all of them worth exploring, from families and teens to adult getaways in the Caribbean.
Nudist Cruise Season
Not for family nudists or teens, the nudist cruise (for the most part) has became an adults “mostly” break from the chore of putting on clothes and commuting to cubicle. Add liberal amounts of alcohol and very confident women in their twenties and thirties bare naked on the sun deck and you have yourself a party. This is the variety we refer to “sensual nudism”. Family Nudist Swim Nights
There’s one in Seattle (plus one night adults only), and they’re common in European community centers. Having a clothing optional night at your local YMCA makes sense, doesn’t it? Who wants to wear a suit to swim? (“Nudist Life: Not Just Beaches”)
There are so many more ways to enjoy the freedom of the “nudist” lifestyle than at the beach. How about a nudist lifestyle at home? All it means is people are so hasty to cover-up, or swim naked in the family pool, or enjoy a nude sauna (kits available at Sears). Or how about a rogue, Monet-style nude picnic? Or joining a nude hiking club (consult your local Meet-up groups). Anyway, pure nudism is more about an attitude than anything else. Enjoy your body (and take care of it) and life to the max. Nudism is just one of the ways to make it so. (“Nudism Life)
We’re All Naked Beneath Our Clothes
Well, duh. But Sean Lasiter’s photo series gets to the bottom (and top) of what this means using everyday women, you know, the kind that serve you at Starbucks or handle your banking. “Nearly everyone is naked at some time during the day,” said Sean. “This isn’t news, but it’s always nice to be reminded.” (“Not Necessarily Nudist, But Nice”)
The Nudist Caribbean
I’ve never understood why a couple would consider booking an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean that strictly forbid nudism or topless sunbathing. I mean clearly, given the option, what would you choose? Fortunately there are lots of new nudist destination resorts along with a slew of some better known resorts (like Hedonism II). Add taking the wife or girlfriend to a nudist resort is a bit like going savage and exercising your inner primate - you know, in a good way. (“Nudist Resorts In The Caribbean”)
